Storyboard

In this post it contains our storyboard for the project, this was made by me (Jyotisha) and Cassie.

For our project we made storyboard in order to make it easier for us imagine and put all of our ideas into one before we start recording the scenes. In this project we don't have any voice over in which we didn't make a script.

Draft 1:

We made the first draft as our rough ideas and trying to combine all of our ideas together, each boxes describe each shots that we are going to do. This storyboard is explaining every shot in our advertisement, but we didn't add any detail of what kind of camera shots/angle that we are doing

Draft 2:

In this version of the storyboard it is a much clearer version in order for me (Tisha) who was working on the storyboard on paper with more detailed explanation of camera angles, movement, sounds, description throughout the scene.

Final Storyboard:

This is our finalize storyboard, which consist of ... shots in 5 different scene that we do. From the draft storyboard, we can see how our ideas changed and go to places that are much suitable with our deadline as the deadline for our project change. Overall from the two different drafts, most of the ideas that we wanted to do is fix.

From the storyboard, we did most of the shots that we expected but at the end result we change some parts and added different shots that we do not have in the storyboard. We didn't follow most of our storyboard because we found better shots that would be much better to be in the video.

Reflection: This storyboard is very beneficial for our project, as it helps us to combine most of our ideas together and it feels like it brings our ideas to life as it gives a brief vision for our project. But in my opinion we can't really define what our outcome will look like as it wont be the same as with what we vision. The storyboard is an important task but it can take a lot of time where during my project it sort of weigh us down because we we're too focus on the storyboard that we forgot about the overall outcome of the project.

As for our storyboard, it is shown that there are not too clear but a lot of grey shadings of writing on each storyboard. This is caused by the scrap paper that we were given to which this affect our storyboard outcome.
